We are delighted to announce the official opening of the new springcare Family Support Centre, taking place on Friday 26 June 2026 at our new premises in Edmonton.
This exciting milestone marks a significant step forward in our commitment to supporting children, young people and families across Enfield and the wider North London community.
We are honoured that the Mayor of Enfield, Councillor Emma Supple, will be attending and officially opening the centre during a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1:00pm.
Supporting Children and Families Since 2010
Since 2010, springcare has been dedicated to supporting vulnerable children, young people and families through a range of community-based services.
Over the past sixteen years, we have worked closely with local authorities, schools, health professionals and families to provide services that help children maintain important relationships, access opportunities within their communities and receive the support they need to achieve positive outcomes.
The opening of our Family Support Centre represents the next chapter in that journey.
A Dedicated Space for Families
Located at 211 Fore Street, Edmonton, the new centre has been carefully designed to provide a safe, welcoming and child-focused environment for families.
The centre includes:
- Dedicated family rooms for supervised and supported contact sessions
- A specialist sensory room designed to support children with autism, sensory processing needs and additional support requirements
- Child-friendly play and activity spaces
- Facilities for family support services and assessments
- A welcoming environment where children can safely maintain important family relationships
- Community spaces that will support local families and future events
We believe this is currently the only dedicated Family Support Centre in Enfield that is open to the public and available for referrals from professionals, local authorities and families.
A Community Celebration
The opening event will provide an opportunity for local residents, professionals, community partners and stakeholders to tour the centre, meet the springcare team and learn more about the support available to children and families within the borough.
Visitors will have the opportunity to view our facilities, including the sensory room and family spaces, and discover how the centre will help strengthen family relationships and improve outcomes for children.
As part of the celebration, complimentary community gift bags will be available for attendees while stocks last.
