Today We Open Our Doors: A New Family Support Centre for Enfield

Today marks a significant milestone in the journey of springcare support services as we officially open the doors of our new Family Support Centre at 211 Fore Street, Edmonton.

As we celebrate 15 years of supporting children, families, and vulnerable adults, this new centre represents our continued commitment to providing safe, welcoming, and child-focused services within the Borough of Enfield and surrounding areas.

For many years, springcare has worked alongside local authorities, social workers, foster carers, parents, and families to support positive outcomes for children. The opening of our Family Support Centre allows us to expand this work by providing a dedicated environment where children can spend meaningful time with family members, access support services, and build positive memories in a safe and nurturing setting.

A Centre Designed Around Children and Families

Every aspect of the Family Support Centre has been designed with children at its heart.

Located at 211 Fore Street, Edmonton, N18 2TZ, the centre includes dedicated contact rooms, a specialist sensory-friendly room, family-friendly facilities, interactive play resources, and comfortable spaces that encourage positive family interaction.

Rather than creating a formal or clinical environment, our aim has been to create a space where children feel relaxed, welcomed, and able to enjoy quality time with those who are important to them.

We understand that family time matters. Whether families are attending supervised contact sessions, family support meetings, parenting support services, or community activities, children deserve environments that help them feel safe, valued, and supported.

Supporting Families Across Enfield

Enfield is home to a diverse and vibrant community, with thousands of families accessing support services each year.

Family support services play an important role in helping children maintain relationships, strengthen family connections, and access early intervention when challenges arise. As family needs continue to evolve, there remains a growing need for safe, welcoming environments where children and families can access support, spend quality time together, and build positive relationships.

The springcare Family Support Centre has been developed to complement and enhance the support available within the borough by providing a professionally managed venue where children and families can come together in a safe, child-focused environment.

We are proud to be investing in Enfield and contributing to the range of support services available to local families.

Welcoming the Mayor of Enfield

We are particularly honoured that the new Mayor of Enfield, Councillor Emma Supple, is joining us for the official opening of the centre today.

Councillor Emma Supple was sworn in as Mayor of Enfield at the Annual Council Meeting held at Enfield

Civic Centre on 27 May 2026. She represents Enfield’s residents, organisations, charities, businesses, and community groups throughout her mayoral year.

Her attendance at today’s opening reflects the importance of supporting children, strengthening families, and investing in services that positively impact local communities.

We are delighted to welcome the Mayor to our new centre and look forward to sharing our vision for supporting children and families across Enfield.

A Day of Celebration

Today’s event brings together professionals, community partners, local organisations, elected representatives, and invited guests to celebrate this exciting new chapter for springcare.

Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the centre, meet our team, explore the facilities, and learn more about the services available to children and families.

The event is not only a celebration of a new building, but also a celebration of partnership working, community support, and the importance of investing in services that place children and families at the centre of everything they do.

Gift Bags for Children/families

No celebration would be complete without something special for our youngest visitors.

To mark the opening of the Family Support Centre, we have prepared gift bags for children/families attending the event. Each gift bag contains a selection of treats, activities, and surprises to help make the day memorable and enjoyable.

Seeing children smile, play, explore, and enjoy the facilities is one of the things we are most looking forward to.

After all, this centre has been created for them.

Looking to the Future

The opening of the springcare Family Support Centre is more than just the launch of a new service. It is an investment in children, families, and the future of our community.

As we officially open our doors today, we would like to thank everyone who has supported us on this journey, including our staff team, local authority partners, professionals, families, suppliers, and supporters.

We are excited about what the future holds and look forward to welcoming many families through our doors in the months and years ahead.

Today we celebrate a building, but more importantly, we celebrate children, families, relationships, and the future.

Together, we are creating a place where children can thrive, relationships can grow, and families can feel supported every step of the way.

Creating Safe Spaces. Supporting Families. Building Brighter Futures.
