Family support services are community-based services that assist and support parents in their role as caregivers. Such services can take many different forms depending on the strengths and needs of the family. Still, their overarching goal is to help parents enhance skills and resolve problems to promote optimal child development.
At Springcare Support Services, the support provided can be in a personal budget, healthy meal plans, boundary work etc. Any support that will aid the parent in becoming the best they can be, ultimately reducing the chances of their children being taken in care.
Our care team have practical experience in dealing with challenging behaviour, autistic spectrum disorders, complex health needs, physical disabilities and sensory impairment.
Support can be tailored to the needs of the service user, which can be short-term whilst a parent/ guardian is away, ill or in a hospital or long-term to support the ongoing needs of your family.
