Outreach support is supporting individuals to live on their own as independently as possible. This can be within their homes and in the community. The support provided is tailored to meet the need of the individual and is flexible. Outreach is also considered as the activity where services are provided to a population of people who may not have otherwise had access to those particular services.

At Springcare, we work in partnership to ensure that the needs of the service users are met. Where outreach support is required, these services include taking service users into the community and engaging in various activities. For children, these activities may include going to the park, or learning activities within the home, such as support with homework/life skills. For adults, this involves community engagement, developing social and independent skills, and access to employment, education and training. The support outcome is to provide direct work by engaging in activities that help to improve mental stimulation, independence, life and social skills. As a result, the service user is empowered.
