This is a range of services put in place to support an individual in their own home. It can be temporary, for instance, a few weeks, or it can be long-term. It is very flexible; you might need a carer for only two hours a week, several hours a day or need live-in care.
These services may involve routine household tasks within or outside the home, personal care to the service user, and other associated domestic services necessary to maintain a person’s acceptable level of health and hygiene, dignity, safety, and ease in their home.
